As we gear up for the private, private beta release...basically, asking 30-40 friends to check out some functionality to the site and give us some initial feedback, I'm reminded of the process we have gone through over the last few months. Here's a screen shot from when the site was just an idea.
We've been checking out old images of famous web sites on www.archive.org's "Way Back Machine" to remind ourselves that
Rome was not built in a day. The great thing is that with the help of today's open source tools it's amazing how building a seriously useful website has changed over time. Here's a shot of where we're at now, and hopefully, we're only a matter of days away from this screen being the page on the site we can share with our friends!
